Frequently ask question
Cold roll forming is a continuous sheet metal bending process carried out at room temperature. A metal coil is gradually shaped through successive roll stations until the desired cross-section is achieved. This process is ideal for producing large quantities of profiles, significantly reducing production time and costs.
They are two entirely different manufacturing processes. Press bending is more suitable for customers who require small quantities of profiles.
The minimum quantity depends on the type of profile being produced whether it’s open or welded, simple or complex. SIKA agrees on the minimum order quantity case by case with the client.
Until last year, we processed strips from 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm. As of 2008, we can now manufacture profiles up to 4 mm thick.
All our profiles are custom designed and manufactured exclusively for each customer. The only catalog item we offer is the proprietary “SIKA” profile used for high-strength industrial doors.
In our production facilities, we process cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel strips, hot-dip galvanized steel, electro-galvanized steel, stainless steel, pre-painted steel, and special materials such as copper, bronze, and more.
SIKA is a young company with extensive experience. What differentiates us is our flexibility.
Yes flexibility in every aspect: delivery times, production quantities, personal relationships, payment terms, and more.
